E-Arcs of Witch's Daughter
And dispelling rumors of my death
It turns out that the “forever cold” really was forever. I went through several rounds of almost well to sick as a dog again. Which must be my excuse for not giving you the rest the Witch’s Daughter earlier NOR the already written installments of Orphans of the Stars (TOMORROW I’ll post a chapter, I swear.)
This latest iteration is just hellacious cough, but my head finally cleared ENOUGH that I can function.
I used that to do a thorough go-through of Witch’s Daughter. Turns out — who knew — that taking 10 years to finish a book lets a lot of inconsistencies drop in. So many in fact that though I think I caught them all — except the spelling, oh, Lord, the spelling — I am sending it to two structural editors today just in case a few escaped me. After that it will go to a copyeditor. So you guys — lucky you — who read this e-arc get to catalogue all the ways I spelled Gryphon. A prize — not sure what yet Probably an ecopy of the final cleaned up book — to the first that sends me a list of all the ways and also how it should be spelled. (Deal?)
So, without further ado and trying not to cough in your direction, here is the link to download your very own, much delayed, copy of Witch’s Daughter, just below the paywall.
